À PROPOS DU PROJET
La Fontaine en mouvement est un projet d'art, de recherche, et de traduction par Sophie Sauvayre. Ces bandes dessinées adaptent les œuvres du poète français, Jean de La Fontaine. L'objectif du projet était d'adapter les fables en combinant le texte de la poésie avec des images des fables.
Le texte français est pris directement des poèmes originaux. Le texte anglais a été traduit pour correspondre au rythme de la poésie originale aussi fidèlement que possible.

About the project
La Fontaine in Motion is a combined art, research, and translation project by Sophie Sauvayre. The comics adapt the works of French poet, Jean de La Fontaine. The goal of the project was to adapt the fables by combining the text of the poetry with imagery of the fables.
The French text is taken directly from the original poems. The English text was translated, with the primary goal being to match the flow of the original poetry as closely as possible.
